June has brought with it the release of THREE new integrations for our customers, as well as some exciting dynamic Slack alerts and a more seamless experience for your Rules page.

We're not slowing down any time soon either with more updates on the horizon, and booked in for Q3.

We've released dynamic Slack alerts

Having the ability to take action directly in Slack, without logging into your Metomic account, can save you so much time and effort, especially if you have hundreds of notifications coming through.

With our new dynamic Slack alerts, you can choose to redact, revoke, notify the author, and perform other actions from your Slack notification.

Depending on the integration, you'll see different options available to you, giving you more control over the sensitive data being shared in your SaaS apps.

Your Rules and Violations - all in one place

Previously, your Rules and Violations would be on separate pages, making it trickier to understand how everything linked up.

Many of our customers have multiple rules set up, and each of these rules can have thousands of violations. We've simplified the experience, merging both pages together to help users get an overall view of the Rules they have in place and the Violations made against them.

This update makes it easier to manage Violations, with everything on one page. From here, you can switch Rules on or off, and understand how many Active Violations you have outstanding, helping you get the full picture when it comes to your data security.

Box, Notion & OneDrive integrations now available!

If you follow me on LinkedIn, you might have already seen that our new Box and Notion integrations are up and running!

We're happy to say we've also released OneDrive too, so if you're a Microsoft user, you'll have full visibility and control over your file storage there too.

Our one-click API integrations make it super easy to connect with Metomic, so we can start scanning your workspace in minutes. Chat with our Sales team or your dedicated Customer Success Manager if you'd be interested in trialling Box, Notion or OneDrive within your Metomic plan.

Metomic's hot-take

It's always shocking when a big name is caught up in a cybersecurity incident but the MoveIt attack shows that companies like PwC aren't exempt.

In fact, it highlights the crucial need to protect supply chains and shows that vulnerabilities in the chain can have widespread consequences. To safeguard against such risks, organisations must conduct due diligence on suppliers, implement strong security controls, and encourage collaboration. By fortifying supply chains, we protect valuable data and operations for all stakeholders.
